It is placed in the control panel of the center console together with the Start/Stop button, the iDrive Controller, the Driving Experience control buttons, the parking brake and the other vehicle functions.
From 150 to 374 hp
The sedan can be ordered in three plug-in hybrid variants (four for the station wagon).
Added to this are four gasoline engines and four diesel engines with four or six cylinders, possibly with a micro-hybridization device.
Not to mention the two BMW Performance versions.
The power scale therefore goes from 150 hp to 374 hp.
xDrive all-wheel drive is standard on top-of-the-range models, but can also be ordered as an option on some other models.
Driving aids
A host of automated driving and parking systems are available.
Standard equipment includes Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Speed Limit Display with No Overtaking Indicator, Manual Speed Limit Assist and Lane Departure Warning with Rewind the way.
The launch of the 3 Series and 3 Series Touring is scheduled for July.
