According to the source, Turkey wants to be included again in the F-35 program, from which it was excluded after buying S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia.

“Moreover, Turkey wants the US to lift sanctions for its possession of S-400 missiles,” the agency informs.

Turkey is also asking the United States to purchase several dozen F-16s, as well as upgrade kits for previously purchased aircraft, the report said.

The sources added that Ankara also expects Sweden and Finland to lift the arms export restrictions they placed on Turkey in 2019.

In addition, the Turkish side requires the Swedish and Finnish authorities to publicly condemn the PKK and its affiliated organizations.

Earlier, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey cannot say "yes" to the membership of Finland and Sweden in NATO.
