The two-year-old Elias took home the first set clearly with 6-3 and was close to picking up the victory in two straight sets at the position 5-4 in the second and with two balls from the match.

Then little brother Mikael - who is ranked 68th in the world compared to 201 for Elias - rose and took home the second set after tiebreak.

The match was then decided in a supertiebreak first to ten. Mikael tied the grip with 8-5 before Elias showed class and turned to victory with 10-8.

- Damn how nervous I was at 5-8. Ouch ouch ouch. I thought I'd burned the chance. But it goes up and down in tennis and it just has to lie in. It was fun to play against Mikael, says Elias afterwards.

He says that they have always been competitive in the family.

- Mikael and I fight for everything every day. When we were little, Dad drove "home championships" and the one who won on the tennis court had to decide on food, who would sit in the car, choose a towel first, choose a place on the TV couch. Everything revolved around who won on the tennis court and that has set this mentality with us, says Elias.

Elias Ymer: "Me and Michael fight every day"

Before the decision in supertiebreak, Mikael Ymer promised to donate SEK 50,000 to the fight against corona if he succeeded with a serveess. He already fulfilled that promise in the first attempt.

- I was so happy when I put it. Right now my focus is not on tennis at all. I just want to be able to help. People are in hospitals and are at risk of dying. Health comes first and foremost. When the tennis career gets underway, I take it then, says Mikael.
