President Biden is visiting Korea this afternoon (20th).

On his first visit to Korea, President Biden and President Yun Seok-yeol will visit the Samsung semiconductor factory, which is interpreted as a move to show his will to further strengthen the semiconductor alliance between Korea and the United States.

As such, this visit to Korea shows that they are working hard to launch an economic consultative body to contain China.

President Yoon Seok-yeol and President Biden will hold a summit tomorrow afternoon.

U.S. President Biden will visit Korea this afternoon as the first country to visit on his first Asian tour since taking office.

Today's first visit to Korea is a visit to Samsung's semiconductor factory in Pyeongtaek.

It is known that President Yun Seok-yeol will also accompany him, but the first meeting between the two leaders will be held 10 days after the inauguration of President Yun.

It is interpreted that the visits of the two leaders to the factories reflect their will to cooperate in the semiconductor supply chain.

Tomorrow afternoon, the Korea-US summit will be held at the Presidential Office Building in Yongsan, Seoul.

At the summit, which is scheduled to last about an hour and a half, cooperation such as the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework and supply chain through IPEF, as well as the restart and revitalization of the Expansion Deterrence Strategy Council, will be key agenda items.

After the summit, the two leaders will hold a press conference to announce a joint declaration.

After that, an official dinner is scheduled to be attended by the heads of major domestic companies.

The day after day, the two leaders are scheduled to hold a 'security schedule' together, and a visit to Osan Air Base or Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek is the most likely mention.

After that, President Biden departs for Japan, where the Quad Summit will be held.

Yesterday, the National Security Office held the first NSC Standing Committee since the inauguration of the new government, presided over by Kim Seong-han, head of the National Security Office, and checked the preparations for the ROK-US summit and the possibility of North Korea's ballistic missile launch or nuclear test.
