US President Joe Biden visited Korea on the afternoon of the 20th and toured Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek semiconductor plant with President Yoon Seok-yeol as his first schedule.

President Biden, who arrived at the semiconductor factory at around 6:10 pm today, was greeted by President Yoon, who was waiting at the main gate.

The two leaders held hands and talked for about 20 seconds, then took a commemorative photo.

During the conversation, President Biden lightly tapped Yun on the shoulder, and President Yoon also lightly placed his hand on President Biden's back.

The two leaders later began a tour of the factory, and after a while, they plan to give a joint speech on the topic of semiconductor cooperation.

Today's visit by the leaders of the two countries to the Samsung semiconductor plant is interpreted as a reflection of their will to cooperate on economic security.
