A serious accident took place this Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., on the RN165, between Vannes and Nantes.

This accident took place in Sainte-Anne-sur-Brivet, at the Grivolais interchange.

Only one vehicle is involved, but the bodily damage is significant.

A 28-year-old woman died before firefighters arrived.

Another 48-year-old woman and an infant were medicalized in absolute emergency.

A child and a 27-year-old man, in relative emergency, were also taken care of by the emergency services.

The family, of Albanian origin, is being evacuated under escort and taken to the Nantes University Hospital.

The expressway was cut for nearly two hours in the Vannes-Nantes direction, but traffic now seems to be back to normal.

The circumstances of the accident remain to be determined.
