Regardless of age, household registration, occupation, or health status, all insured persons who are insured by the Beijing Basic Medical Insurance can participate in the insurance, which truly benefits all Beijing medical insurance participants.
The second is that the coverage is more comprehensive, and it can be insured at one's own expense.
It not only guarantees the outpatient and inpatient self-payments in the basic medical insurance catalog, but also guarantees the out-of-patient hospitalization expenses outside the basic medical insurance catalog and the medication costs of special drugs at home and abroad.
The third is that people with pre-existing diseases can be insured and compensated.
Participants with 5 types of specific pre-existing diseases with malignant tumors, liver and kidney diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, lung diseases, and immune system diseases form differentiated protections with healthy people, realizing "insurable and claimable".
The fourth is to innovate to solve special medication protection.
Hundreds of special medicines at home and abroad are included in the coverage, including 25 special medicines outside the domestic medical insurance catalogue and 75 imported special medicines. Patients can use global innovative medicines simultaneously without going abroad to Boao City, Hainan.
