Danish Sinologist Cao Boyi stated that Lu Xun was one of the most important writers in East Asia in the 20th century. Many of his works have been translated into many European languages ​​and are loved by readers.

Shaoxing, the hometown of Lu Xun, and Odense, the birthplace of Danish writer Andersen, have become sister cities, which fully demonstrates that great writers are the bond of cultural exchanges between the two countries.
