Beach Canteen offers a lot of fun to Dubai residents and visitors during the long weekend of the 50th Union Day.

This special edition of the event, which is being held on Jumeirah Beach, is being organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation, sponsored by Etisalat, in the context of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Union.

Today, Melodica's musical performances begin on Etisalat stage, during the weekend.

The show will be followed by a workshop suitable for beginners entitled Art Letters with Fun and Art, which will allow visitors of all ages to enjoy drawing the letters of their choice in the “Yalla Marah” area.

A perfume making workshop from Oola Lab Splash and dash will give event visitors the opportunity to create their own unique fragrances to celebrate and learn about the traditions of Arab perfumery in the UAE in celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the union.

The J&L Art Studio offers wonderful activities for the guests of the Beach Canteen, sponsored by Etisalat, such as traditional henna engraving, face painting and many more. Visitors will be given the opportunity to meet one of the most prominent speakers in the UAE, and the evening will be concluded with a variety of saxophone performances.

Tomorrow, it will start with the "Madina Parade", which includes the beloved characters "Modhesh" and "Dana".

Immediately after this event, participants will have the opportunity to meet and greet “Modhesh” and “Dan”.

The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Cultural Understanding is organizing a workshop on making traditional Arabic coffee and its etiquette, followed by a show of traditional Emirati dances and music, which celebrates the history and culture of the UAE on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the union.

The evening includes more arts and crafts sessions and workshops, including lettering with fun and art with J&L Art Studio.

“Mo Al Turki” will host a lucky draw from the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Cultural Understanding, which will give participants the opportunity to win great prizes.

It is expected that the "CZN Burak - The Game" event, which was launched last week in the Beach Canteen, sponsored by "Etisalat" 2021, will witness a large participation, to be one of the most popular events during the festive weekend.

The evening concludes with the Union Day fireworks display at nine in the evening, before Dubai-based singer and songwriter Carla and her band “As Bear Casper” rise to the Etisalat Majlis stage for the audience to enjoy a selection of the best songs.

Tomorrow, Friday, it will start with the city parade, before starting the art workshop with Dana, which will captivate the audience.

Visitors can then meet and greet “Modhesh” while enjoying performances of traditional Emirati dances and music throughout the evening.

The evening will witness another series of lettering workshops with fun, art and activities with J&L Art Studio, in addition to a Thai Day & Ink workshop from Studio Meraki for lovers of creative arts.

This is followed by another round of drawing the Wheel of Fortune from the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Cultural Understanding before the evening concludes, with an artistic performance by Mohammed Samih and his talented group of musicians, including the most famous traditional Arabic songs from the Gulf, Morocco, Egypt, Kuwait and Lebanon.

Saturday will feature a saxophone and trumpet from Carlos, followed by the Madinah Parade and an Modish Meet and Greet event, and then another workshop organized by the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Cultural Understanding on the traditional way of making henna.

The afternoon includes fun, arts and crafts workshops with the J&L Art Studio, as well as traditional Emirati dance and music performances.

The drawing of the Wheel of Fortune from the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Cultural Understanding will bring joy to the hearts of the participants, especially the prize winners, before the “Show by Mo Turki” event returns at the end of the evening.
