Villeurbanne recorded his third defeat in as many Euroleague games, losing Thursday evening on his floor at Astroballe against the Lithuanians from Zalgiris Kaunas 83 to 74, on behalf of the 6th day of the competition.

Asvel was deprived of six players, including two of its playmakers - the American Norris Cole and the French Antoine Diot -, in the recovery phase or at forced rest.

After dominating the first two quarters (50-41), the players of TJ Parker gradually cracked at the end of the match.

Villeurbanne played his first game since October 11.

The team was at a standstill due to very many cases of Covid-19 within the Rhone workforce.
