The French women's basketball team easily won (77-61) against Sweden on Friday in Mulhouse, in their penultimate preparatory match for Euro-2021 (June 17-27)

After their two victories against Italy in recent days, the Blue followed by another success against the Swedes, which they will meet again on Saturday (6.30 p.m.) for their last meeting before the Euro.

A match in which Sandrine Gruda, the most prolific player on Friday night with 21 points scored, will only need three points to become the top scorer in the history of French basketball.

The French were initially scheduled to face the Turks, who experienced authorization problems linked to the Covid-19 pandemic and were unable to face Sweden and France this week in Mulhouse.

France, reigning European vice-champion, has won all of these preparation matches so far, including two victories in May against Spain, two-time European champion in title (2017, 2019).

After their last match on Saturday, the French will begin a final training camp on June 11 in Strasbourg, before entering their Euro group stage against Croatia on June 17.

The Euro will end in Valencia, Spain.
