The prefect of the North has decreed the closure of bars from midnight to 6 a.m. on the night of Saturday to Sunday in Lille, the weekend when the famous clearance sale was to be held, the circulation of the Covid intensifying while the precautions are relaxed.
All bars, snacks, food shops or establishments selling alcohol or food will have to remain closed on the territory of Lille, "for the evening of Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 24h00 to 06h00", specifies the prefecture in a statement.
The prefect Michel Lalande made this decision after having observed, "since mid-August, a relaxation of behavior", in particular in the "festive sectors of the city of Lille".
