Earlier on Sunday evening, parts of a desolate farm east of Staffanstorp, the same municipality where the barn is on fire, burned.
The alarm about the fire in the barn came at 01.32 and eight units from the rescue service are fighting the fire.
-The fire should be in a free-standing roof, but it is unclear what is burning, says Claudia Giaré, team leader at SOS Alarm, to Sydsvenskan.
Cars are also said to have started to burn and two ambulances are said to be at the scene.
