Vaccine reservations for subjects under the age of 40 with the last digit of their date of birth starting at 8:00 pm yesterday.

These are the last subjects to whom the 10 sub system applies, and reservations are possible until 6pm today.

The pre-booking rate for 18-49 year olds counted so far is 59.3%.

The government predicted that the vaccination rate for this age group would exceed 70%, as there were 6.7 million people in their 40s or younger who had previously vaccinated with essential social workers or residual vaccines.

But given the 18-49 year old population of 22.41 million, more than 6 million have not booked yet.

The government emphasized the effectiveness of vaccines and repeatedly urged people to be vaccinated.

[Kim Bu-gyeom/Prime Minister: The number of cases where infection leads to severe infection even among young people is increasing recently. Vaccination is effective enough in that it not only lowers the risk of infection, but also significantly reduces the chances of hospitalization and death.]

Those who do not make an appointment during the 10-part period will be aged 36 to 49 today and 18 to 35 tomorrow. Additional reservations can be made by dividing the age group.

Also, from the 21st of the morning to the 18th of the next month, we will take reservations again for all ages 18-49.

The government also allowed people in their 30s and 40s to receive the AstraZeneca residual vaccine from that day.
