The meeting between Lyon and Montpellier, scheduled for Saturday on behalf of the 7th day of the Top 14, is postponed due to at least 3 cases of Covid-19 within the Lyon workforce, already affected in August and September, has announced Thursday on Lou.
“Following the regular screenings imposed by the health protocol of the National Rugby League, more than two members of the LOU Rugby professional group have tested positive for Covid-19.
Placed in solitary confinement, their state of health does not cause concern, ”said the Lyon rugby club.

Already affected
At the end of August and beginning of September, several players from Lyon had been affected by the virus and the Lou had suspended collective training, favoring individual sessions or in small groups.
But the club had managed to contain the spread and were able to start the season without seeing any of their games postponed so far.
After playing six games, Lyon is 4th in the Top 14 two points behind the trio of leaders, La Rochelle, Clermont and Toulouse, where the Lyonnais have just won on October 24 (16-7).
The MHR, for its part, is 8th in the general classification.
