November 27, 2021 Maurizio Scala, known as "Momo" and head of service to the homeless of the Community of Sant'Egidio in Genoa, was ordained a priest today in Genoa. Even during his wife's long illness, which Momo took care of at home until the end, he remained a point of reference for the young people and adults of the Community in Liguria. After being widowed, Fr Maurizio undertook the new formation path up to today's priestly ordination.
