In Haiti, the mystery surrounding the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse on July 7 continues and it is around this attack that

divisions within the ruling party

are crystallizing today

. After simply brushing aside the accusations by qualifying them as a diversion,

Ariel Henry

finally explains the alleged telephone contacts he would have had with Joseph Félix Badio a few hours after the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.

At least, the Prime Minister is coming out of his silence on this subject but, in his press release, published on social networks Thursday, September 16, he explains having received many calls after this crime, especially from people who wanted to inquire about his own safety.

The Haitian president was killed in his residence by an armed commando and the sponsors of this attack are still unknown.

Ariel Henry explains not being able today to remember the content of all the conversations he had this morning of July 7 and he even specifies that he was not able to answer all the calls.

Above all, the Prime Minister says that a conversation held with a person accused of something is not enough to incriminate the other interlocutor.

And he ends his letter by assuring that translating the authors, co-authors and sponsors of the presidential murder was his objective in memory of Jovenel Moïse and for his family and the Haitian people.
