Arteta reveals Arsenal's position on renewing the contract of Egyptian Mohamed Elneny

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta said that the administration has already made its decision regarding the players whose contracts expire this season, namely Mohamed Elneny, Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette, but without announcing the decision to the media.

The three players, whose contracts expire at the end of the season, played in Arsenal's 5-1 win over Everton in the final round on Sunday.

Lacazette appears to be a candidate to leave after the France striker said that he is in negotiations with several clubs, while pictures appeared on social media of Al-Masry Al-Nini while holding a pen and paper in his hand after Sunday's match.

Nketiah's future appears ambiguous, but the striker has been in brilliance in recent weeks, scoring against Everton and netting twice in a 4-2 win over Chelsea last month.

"I will speak to the three players now or tomorrow, and then we will need to move forward, but we have clear ideas of what we want to do," Arteta said.

"The club has made its decision, but it is difficult to announce it," he added.

Arteta stressed that Arsenal will do everything in its power to deal fairly with the three players.

Despite the victory over Everton, Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League due to two consecutive losses to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, to take Tottenham fourth place after a 5-0 victory over Norwich City at the end of the season.
