En Thérapie

channel

, but this has not led to any editorial change. I am not going to present you only series of psychoanalysts, or with couches, ”explained Olivier Wotling in the preamble of a press conference where he presented the 2021-2022 series line-up of the Franco-German channel.

Season 2 of En Therapy is currently being filmed.

"It's a season that takes place five years after season 1, coming out of containment in 2020. The pandemic is the backdrop," he unveiled.

A season 2 of "In Therapy" against a background of a pandemic

Whereas in season 1, the collective trauma of the Bataclan attacks resonated with the individual problems of the characters, in season 2, "it is the trauma, the suffering, that the pandemic creates, the confinement and isolation and their individual resonances. Which will be explored.

We find Frédéric Pierrot in the role of the psychoanalyst, Dr Dayan.

" He is divorced.

Dr Dayan, sued

Attacked in court, Dr Dayan turns to Claire (Charlotte Gainsbourg), a media analyst and essayist whose support he hopes for the ongoing trial.

"He no longer has a referent as such at the start, this colleague will be responsible for supporting him and supporting him, and at the same time, their story starts with a certain skepticism, a certain rivalry", indicated the patron of Arte's fiction.

Four new patients on the couch

Facing the psychoanalyst, four new patients.

"Eye Haidara plays Inès, a lawyer, Robin, an overweight young adolescent boy, will be played by Alyosha Delmotte, Suzanne Linda plays Lydia, a student in architecture who has to support a very heavy weight, the news of a disease that strikes her in full youth, and Jacques Weber plays Alain, a business manager caught in a media turmoil following the death of one of his employees, ”he explains.
