Thursday, the criminal court of Béziers (Hérault) condemned to 42 months of prison two men of 46 years, of Ukrainian origin, who had been arrested on March 12, on the A75 motorway, carrying 6.4 kg of grass cannabis.

The two men were also sentenced to a final ban on being on French territory.

Concealed in the bodywork

The customs officers had apprehended them, near Pezenas, each driving a vehicle. A dog had allowed the discovery of narcotics, hidden in the body and packaged in sachets. They have since been in pre-trial detention.

The two men were also ordered to pay a fine of 10,500 euros jointly and severally. Their two vehicles were also confiscated.
