Today (26th) around 2 am, a fire broke out on the 6th floor of an apartment in Wolpi-dong, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do with a loud explosion, killing one resident.
A woman in her 60s was found in cardiac arrest in a house on the 6th floor that caught fire and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but eventually died.
Today, the fire was extinguished in about an hour and 10 minutes, but more than 200 residents of the apartment were evacuated.
The fire department is investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
