In recent years, public security organs have attached great importance to the investigation and crackdown of crimes related to food production safety.
Since the beginning of this year, in the "Kunlun 2020" special operation, cracking down on crimes endangering food production safety has been placed in a prominent position.
Public security organs across the country have cracked a large number of major cases and arrested a number of criminal suspects, with obvious results.
Up to now, a total of 614 criminal cases of producing and selling counterfeit agricultural materials have been cracked, and 910 suspects have been arrested, involving a value of 1.1 billion yuan; 1995 cases have been cracked, and 2,249 suspects have been arrested, involving 2,263 hectares of agricultural land. ; Cracked 2,437 cases of environmental pollution of various types and arrested 6,415 suspects, involving a value of 1.2 billion yuan.
The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Public Security said that the public security organs will further promote the "Kunlun 2020" special action, and adopt a "zero tolerance" attitude to severely crack down on illegal and criminal activities such as the production and sale of counterfeit agricultural materials, illegal occupation of agricultural land, and environmental pollution.
At the same time, it will further strengthen cooperation with relevant departments, improve the working mechanism, unblock channels for information exchange, situation reporting, testing and identification, and case transfer, and strive to form an overall work force to strengthen the national food security line of defense.
