China News Service, Hefei, July 15 (Liu Haosheng, Red Soldier) On the 15th, the restoration of Huirao ancient road and ancient stone railings due to flash floods in Hecheng Township, Xiuning County, Anhui Province was completed.

  The Huirao Ancient Road is an important ancient post road from the ancient Huizhou to Fuliang and Wuyuan in the north of Jiangxi. It was built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, about 600 years ago.

  On the night of June 10, continuous heavy rainfall triggered flash floods, and a road scale and ancient stone railings were washed away at the entrance of Youlong Village, Huirao Ancient Road.

  The next day, the Hecheng Urban and Rural Government organized professional technicians to formulate a maintenance plan on site.

  After the floods receded, the maintenance team salvaged the original components and repaired and restored the ancient road and stone railings in accordance with the principle of "repairing the old with the old". After more than a month, all damaged parts of the ancient road have been repaired. (Finish)
