The Spanish newspaper “Marca” revealed that the International Football Association (FIFA) is facing a difficult situation regarding the establishment of the next edition of the Club World Cup, because it cannot be organized in the winter, due to the crowded schedule, in light of the World Cup being held in Qatar during the next November and December. And its exceptional date, which has been held in March “since the Corona pandemic”, coincides with the holding of the group league competitions in the European Champions League, at a time when Al Ain fans are in a state of anticipation, as he will be the representative of the state if the tournament is hosted in the Emirates for the second year on straight.

The Spanish newspaper, which is close to Real Madrid, reported in a report on the difficulties that may face the establishment of the Club World Cup, in which Al-Maringhi will participate as the European champion, along with Moroccan Wydad Casablanca, the African champion, and the American Seattle Sounders, the CONCACAF champion.

And the newspaper considered that holding the World Cup in Qatar from November 21 to December 18 will not leave room in the calendar for the Club World Cup, which was usual to be held before the Corona virus in the second and third weeks of December, and that the idea of holding it in the last week of the month February and the first week of March face other complications, because in these two months the round of 16 of the Champions League will be held 22-23, which may affect the participation of Real Madrid, if the white team succeeds in passing the group stage.

The newspaper pointed out that it is not yet known which country will host the next edition of the tournament, and said: “So far, there is no place for the tournament either.

The last edition was held in the UAE in the first half of last February, and Chelsea won it after defeating Palmeiras in the final.

It was intended that the tournaments would witness changes to its system, raising the number of participants to 24 instead of seven, and changing the tournament system, as eight clubs from Europe, six from South America, three from Africa, and the same from North and Central America, along with two and a half seats for Asian clubs. , and half a seat for Oceania.

And the last edition, hosted by the Emirates, was held with the participation of seven clubs, including Al Jazeera.

And the American newspaper, "The New York Times", quoted FIFA officials that so far they do not have a clear vision about the place or date of the next edition of the Club World Cup, and whether the said system will be applied or the old system will be applied again.

The FIFA Club World Cup cannot be held in the winter, due to the busy football schedule.
