A preliminary investigation has been opened into suspicions of doping targeting a team of the Tour de France which has just ended, the prosecutor announced Monday to AFP.

This investigation was opened by the public health pole of the Marseille prosecutor's office, said prosecutor Dominique Laurens, referring to the “discovery of many health products including drugs (…) and above all a method that can be qualified as doping”.

Two police custody are in progress.
