“Earth tremors of magnitude 5.8 were registered on Monday at 16:25 (08:25 Moscow time) in the Pacific Ocean.
The epicenter was located 40 kilometers southeast of the city of Severo-Kurilsk on Paramushir Island, the focus was at a depth of 75 kilometers, ”the agency’s interlocutor reports.
Earlier it was reported that an earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred off the coast of Kamchatka.
