Numerous convictions were pronounced on Monday by the Bonneville criminal court (Haute-Savoie), in the context of a case concerning an Albanian heroin and cocaine trafficking network dismantled in 2020, reports

In March and then in June 2021, 18 people linked to this network had already been sentenced.
Six defendants were tried this time: three Albanians, two French and a Swiss, absent during the hearing.
They were prosecuted for acquisition, possession, transfer, transport of narcotics, participation in a criminal association and money laundering.
No criminal association
The association of criminals was ultimately not retained by the judges, but the rest of the charges yes.
The Albanians were sentenced to a five-year ban on territory in France.
Two of them were sentenced to three years in prison with a warrant of committal.
The other to two years in prison, one year of which is firm.
The Swiss was sentenced to two years in prison.
Finally, a resident of Annecy was sentenced to two years in prison, one of which was suspended.
His ex-boyfriend was given a one-year suspended prison sentence.
