The route is operated by Guangxi Blue Whale Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. The schedule is planned to be four times a week, with a flight time of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The main outgoing goods are clothing, shoes, luggage and other cross-border e-commerce goods, as well as general trade goods.
This route is the third ASEAN all-cargo flight route opened by Guangxi Civil Aviation Industry Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangxi Airport Management Group, after going to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Bangkok, Thailand, opening up an air cargo route from Guangxi to Malaysia.
Guangxi is connected with ASEAN by land and sea. In recent years, it has vigorously promoted the construction of a new land-sea channel in the west and the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone to accelerate the pace of interconnection with ASEAN.
At present, the average customs clearance capacity of international mail and cross-border e-commerce in the Nanning area of Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone has reached 1 million pieces per day, effectively meeting the diversified needs of cross-border e-commerce import and export, and attracting companies including LAZADA, the largest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia. A large number of cross-border e-commerce companies have gathered and developed, and have become a gathering area for China-ASEAN cross-border e-commerce webcasts.
The opening of this route has built a new service platform for the economic and trade development of Guangxi and ASEAN, and has further enriched Nanning's cargo route network facing ASEAN.
Guangxi Civil Aviation Industry Development Co., Ltd. stated that in the next step, with the support of Nanning Municipal Government and Nanning Customs, it will plan to open more freight routes to ASEAN, promote the construction of Nanning Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, develop modern airport industry clusters, and build ASEAN's regional international aviation hub.
