Whether Ariana Grande, the Kardashians or even the British royal family - for many celebrities it is part of presenting themselves on Instagram and Twitter. Not so for Oscar winner Alicia Vikander. "I realized early that social media is not good for me," she told Harper's Bazaar magazine.

She tried Instagram for about a month - and then said goodbye to it. "Personally, I have not found any joy in it," said the 30-year-old.

Even otherwise, Vikander does not like to look at the charts: she is very good at not showing any nerves, she said. Her entire life she has heard, "Oh, you look so hard." This is sometimes just a façade: "One of the most important things I can do well is not to show that I'm pissing myself off."

Vikander won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "The Danish Girl". Last year, the movie "Tomb Raider" came out with her as Lara Croft - the role had previously been played by Angelina Jolie.
