DR
Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi, drivers of the F1 Alfa Romeo Racing-Orlen team, took part in a day of testing, in real conditions, with the new super sports sedans from Alfa Romeo: the Giulia GTA and GTAm.
They let loose on the famous Balocco test tracks, where all of the brand's cars have been developed and tested since the 1960s.
Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm - DR
As shown in the video, World Champion Kimi Räikkönen and young Italian talent Giovinazzi worked closely with the engineers, focusing on specific technical suggestions aimed at optimizing the aerodynamics and handling of the cars.
To complete the development of the GTA and GTAm, F1 drivers analyzed the changes to the car and reported on their impressions on the track.
Alfa Romeo has entrusted Sauber Engineering with the production of most of the carbon components of the 2 models, in particular those related to an aerodynamic impact.
This includes the new front bumper, side skirts, extractor, GTA spoiler and ventilation.
Thanks to its manually adjustable front and rear fins, it can adapt its aerodynamic performance to any type of track or road, exactly according to the demands and preferences of the driver.
