Guest on Europe Matin Tuesday, the philosopher and essayist Alain Finkielkraut estimated that France "has an anti-fascist obsession" and "is completely wrong".

"This anti-fascist obsession tells us today that it is absurd to think it was better before. It criminalizes nostalgia as things get worse and it also says 'diversity is our lot'", he estimated.
