Al-Wasl refuses to lose..and deprives Kalba of the joy of the first victory

Ittihad Kalba and its guest Al Wasl contented themselves with sharing the point of the fifth round of the ADNOC Professional League, in the match that was held today at Kalba Stadium.

With this result, Kalba raised his score to three points, compared to six points for Al Wasl.

Although Kalba advanced in the score until the 89th minute, after the Togolese substitute Malaba goal, Ahmed Amer in the 40th minute, Al-Wasl striker, Brazilian William Butker scored the equalizer in the 91st minute, to deny Kalba from scoring its first victory.

The match started wrongly for Al Wasl, where Mohammed Sabeel almost scored a goal in his own net after hitting a counter-header that went over the crossbar (11), a minute later, Kalba player Ahmed Jeshak hit a strong ball while he was inside the penalty box, which hit the Al Wasl defender, and went to a corner.

Al Wasl launched its first dangerous attack after a powerful left-footed shot by Fabio Lima, which passed the side of the post to the outside in the most dangerous attack (15).

Kalba goalkeeper Jamal Abdullah starred, and saved a goal after a shot by the unmarked Al Wasl player William Butker, who was inside the six yards (29), in a distinct reaction from the Tigers goalkeeper.

Half an hour into the match, Kalba led seven attacks against Al Wasl's three, but all of them lacked effectiveness.

Kalba got a direct free kick in front of the Al-Wasl penalty area after a mistake made by Brazilian defender Adilson, with Ather Ahmed Amer, who in turn hit the ball over the blocking wall into the net, scoring the first goal in the 40th minute.

Al-Wasl almost scored the equalizing goal, had it not been for the valor of Tigers defender Abdul Salam Mohammed, who removed a dangerous ball that was on its way to the goal.

In the second half, Al Wasl players demanded a penalty kick after Abdul Rahman Saleh was stumbled by Fahd Sabeel (71), but the referee did not award anything.

Ahmed Amer scored a second goal that was canceled after returning to the video technology (the mouse), due to the presence of an offside case, and the two teams exchanged attacks until Al-Wasl managed to score the equalizing goal through professional William Boetker (90+1), taking advantage of an attack led by Habbush Saleh.
