Sharjah coach Abdulaziz Al-Anbari hopes for a perfect start for his team, during his upcoming match against the Fujairah team, in the first round of the Arab Gulf Football League, indicating that Sharjah's ambition is to be among the teams competing for the title, especially as he enters the competition with its title.

"The league is different from the Asian championship, so the players are required to be at the top of focus, discipline and respect for competitors," Al-Anbari said, during the match’s introduction press conference, which was held yesterday at the club’s headquarters in Sharjah.

He added: "I wish the team a good appearance, especially since the match comes at the beginning of the league, and achieving a positive result during it will give the players a great moral boost."

Al-Anbari said: “Respecting the opponent during matches is one of our priorities, so I hope that the players forget their previous matches in the Asian championship with its pros and cons, and that they are at the top of mental readiness, given that all matches will be difficult.

Al-Anbari considered that the presence of Brazilian striker Wilton Suarez, who returned to the team again, coming from Al Wasl club, is a positive element, as he is not a stranger to the team, stressing that Suarez has always been used to doing his best.

Al-Anbari indicated that the team will miss, in the Fujairah match, defender Hassan Saleh, due to injury.
