Ajman government adopts changing the weekly work system
The government of the Emirate of Ajman has adopted changing the weekly work system in the emirate in line with the vision of the UAE to enhance its competitive position globally in the economic and business sectors and to keep pace with global developments and trends.
According to the decision, the new system of weekly work in the Emirate of Ajman will be applied to all government agencies, with working days from Monday to Thursday and half working days on Friday.
According to the decision, the weekend will be on Saturday, Sunday and Friday half a day, starting from January 1, 2022, while Sunday, January 2, will be an official holiday.
The official working hours in government agencies will be from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm on Friday.
