Ahmed Khalil excluded from the UAE national team
The UAE Football Association said on its official Twitter page that Shabab Al-Ahly and the national football team, Ahmed Khalil, left Al-Abyad camp, which is currently in Dubai and will continue for 10 days, in preparation for the joint qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, due to a hamstring injury.
The UAE Football Association said: "Medical examinations proved the presence of a posterior muscle injury and the need for treatment and rest for a period ranging from one week to 10 days."
Ahmed Khalil is considered one of the main and influential elements in the white ranks.
