In May, Sorsele left his last bank branch.
Since then, the municipality has tried to find solutions to solve the problems that arise without a bank in the area.
These include cash handling and the possibility of making deposits in accounts, a problem that has now been resolved.
A new ATM is now opening in the city center, where it is possible to make both withdrawals and deposits.
- It is not a bank with all that it entails, but it is an improved service precisely in terms of cash, says Erika Hjukström, business secretary at Sorsele municipality.
