China News Service, May 20 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Blinken said on the 19th local time that President Biden approved additional military aid worth up to $100 million to Ukraine.

  In a statement, Blinken said that since the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, including this additional military aid, U.S. military assistance to Ukraine has totaled $3.9 billion.

  The statement also said the United States and its allies are accelerating the delivery of weapons and equipment critical to Ukraine's defense.

  On the same day, the U.S. Senate passed an aid bill totaling about $40 billion.

The bill has passed the House of Representatives and will become law when Biden signs it.
