In Afghanistan,

two explosions took place on August 26 near the Kabul airport

One of them took place near an access gate crowded with thousands of Afghans hoping to be evacuated. 

The results are still uncertain.

There would be at least 6 dead and sixty injured according to the Twitter account of the hospital of the Italian NGO Emergency.

The Taliban, meanwhile, speak of 13 to 20 dead.

Twelve US soldiers were killed and 15 others wounded, the Pentagon confirmed.

The Taliban " 

strongly condemn

 " the deadly attacks, said their spokesperson, while stressing that they had taken place in an area under the responsibility of the American army.
