The government has issued a state of emergency for the four prefectures of Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto as a countermeasure against the new coronavirus, and 200,000 per store per day at large facilities such as department stores that responded to requests for closure. It turned out that we are making final adjustments in the direction of providing yen cooperation money.

From the 25th to the 11th of May, the government issued a state of emergency for the four prefectures of Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto, and the floor area of buildings such as department stores, shopping centers, and movie theaters Our policy is to request closures for large facilities with a total area of over 1000 square meters.

In line with this, the government is making final adjustments by introducing new support measures to provide cooperation funds to large facilities that respond to requests for leave.

According to this, we are planning to provide a cooperation fee of 200,000 yen per store per day to large facilities such as department stores that cooperate with the closure, and 20,000 yen per store per day to tenants who move into such large facilities.

Industry groups in department stores and shopping centers are requesting the government to continue operations even if an emergency is declared, saying that they are taking sufficient measures against infection, but the government has requested a leave of absence due to new support measures. It seems that there is an aim to seek understanding of the situation and to take more thorough measures against infection.
