Actor Mike Mitchell, best known for starring in "Gladiator," is dead

Mike Mitchell, the Scottish actor who has starred in

and

, has died aged 65 in the Turkish resort of Fethiye in the south-west of the country, local media reported on Sunday.

According to the private Turkish news agency DHA, the actor died of a heart attack.

His body was found in a cabin at a marina by the manager of the marina, Burak Ardahan, who called for help.

Mike Mitchell's body has been taken to the morgue for an autopsy which will determine the exact cause of death, DHA said.
