Abdul Hamid is the only Emirati coach in the basket, who has succeeded in professionalism abroad, and put his mark strongly on the records of the championships, when he was crowned in 2001 with the title of best coach in Asia, under his leadership in that year the Jeddah Federation to win the title of the Continental Clubs Championship, in addition to being the first Emirati coach to succeed In leading one of the country's teams to the continental podiums, when he led Al Wasl to clinch bronze for Asian clubs in the 2008 edition.
In the Gulf region, in 1993 he won the first Gulf Cup title for UAE clubs with the Al Wahda team, before adding his second foreign star, led by Sharjah in 2011 to win the Arab Clubs Championship title, then winning the 2018 and 2019 Gulf titles, in an unprecedented record in the history of the tournament, where he achieved «King »11 successive victories in both editions.

Hand and basketball teams in Sharjah resume their training
