A woman was threatened and assaulted this Friday evening, around 8 p.m., in Annecy (Haute-Savoie).
As she was taking the Pont des Amours, a visibly drunk man approached her, reports

As she tried to move on, the man got angry and ended up pulling out a handgun to threaten his victim with it.
The latter managed to escape and ran to the police station where she immediately reported the facts and the individual.
Weapons prohibited in circulation
The suspect, a 31-year-old man, was arrested shortly after.
He was first placed in a drunk tank in view of his alcohol level, then in police custody.
He admitted the facts during his hearing by the police.
The 30-year-old will be tried on May 3 for threats and carrying a prohibited weapon.
This weekend, an individual also in possession of prohibited weapons (a brass knuckles and a switchblade knife) was arrested in Annecy, notes
