She is suspected of having lit no less than eight fires between August 4 and 11 in the town of Couzeix near Limoges (Haute-Vienne).

It is thanks to video surveillance cameras that the investigators have succeeded in identifying the person at the origin of the series of fires which have broken out in recent days in the town.
In police custody, the suspect admitted the facts.
She would have explained that she had acted in this way "out of boredom and anguish at having to return to her home in a difficult family context".
Pending trial on December 16, the 50-year-old was placed under judicial supervision.
