This Friday, three people, including a 15-year-old teenager, were discovered dead in an apartment in Lens, in Pas-de-Calais, we learned from the firefighters.

The emergency services had been called to verify the situation of people not responding to calls for several days.

On their arrival, the firefighters found the front door locked and had to go through the window to enter this apartment, we explained to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) of Pas-de- Calais.

Dead in their beds for several days

While scouting the scene, they discovered a 40-year-old man and woman as well as a 15-year-old teenager.

All were in "a state of stiff corpse", dead for several days.

The couple and the teenager were in their beds.

An investigation was opened by the Béthune prosecutor's office confirms the public prosecutor, Thierry Dran.

The investigations were entrusted to the judicial police of Lille.
