The past months have witnessed many problems and crises between the poles of the Egyptian soccer club Al-Ahly and Zamalek, and arrived during the past days to the dome of the Egyptian parliament, after the Al-Ahly club requested the lifting of immunity from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamalek, Mortada Mansour, to submit reports against him. In the midst of this ongoing controversy, it was remarkable that the former Zamalek star and broadcaster Khaled Al-Ghandour, the club's broadcaster, announced that his young daughter had been infected with the Corona virus, stressing in press statements that he would not appear in the media for the coming period.
Al-Ahly club, through its television channel, expressed sympathy for Ghandour on her official Twitter account, and wished healing for his young daughter. Khaled Al-Ghandour did not find an opportunity to thank Al-Ahly channel for this kind gesture, and he did so through the Zamalek TV channel during his daily program, which was not accepted by the president of Zamalek Club, Counselor Mortada Mansour, who promised to hold him accountable.
Al-Ahly had submitted three reports against Mortada Mansour during the past two days to the President of the Egyptian Parliament, and Mortada Mansour responded with a communication against Al-Ahly’s channel to the National Media Center because of “abuses from his point of view towards Zamalek Club.”
Mortada Mansour said on the Zamalek channel: With my respect to Khaled Al-Ghandour, he should not pollute the Zamalek channel in the name of Sayed Abdel Hafeez, if he wants to thank him so he can call him away from the Zamalek channel, Abdel Hafeez insults Zamalek every day in his statements.
He added: Khaled Ghandour will be held accountable for what he said for sure. ”Mortada Mansour directed his talk to the former Zamalek coach Farouk Jaafar during the program also and attacked the Al-Ahly’s board of directors, and said: I reserve reservations about what was said by Farouk Jaafar in the Tuesday episode of Zamalek channel, he was not successful in He said, We are brothers with the masses of Al-Ahly, not its board of directors and Mahmoud Al-Khatib, and if you see, Farooq, Jaafar, that the preacher is a respectable man, this is your business, we do not shake or tremble.
