The operator of a small tour boat in Utoro, Shari-cho, which had refrained from operating this season due to the sinking of a sightseeing boat off the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, has set voluntary rules for safe operation from the 16th. The flight has started.

The Shiretoko Small Tour Boat Council, which is made up of businesses that operate small tour boats in Utoro, Shari Town, has refrained from operating this season due to the sinking accident of the tour boat in April, but multiple operational decisions have been made. After discussing with the company, in principle, we summarized the voluntary rules for safe operation, such as not operating independently, and started operation on the 16th.

Approximately 20 passengers boarded the first sightseeing boat departing at 10 am, and all of them wore life jackets before leaving the port.

Since it will take more than an hour for the following ships to depart in the afternoon, ships of the same traders who will be rescued in an emergency also depart together based on the voluntary rules and avoid operating alone.

Two flights are scheduled to operate on the afternoon of the 16th.
