Yesterday (16th) at around 3 pm, a tugboat capsized and a barge was stranded in the sea near Sapsido, Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do.
The Coast Guard immediately dispatched a rescue team to rescue a man in his 70s from a tugboat, and then rescued a man in his 70s who was aboard the barge by helicopter.
However, another man in his 70s who was on the tug went missing and the search is ongoing.
The Coast Guard believes that the overturned tugboat departed from Incheon Port at 8 am the morning and passed the Boryeong Sea area, and the accident occurred due to engine failure.
