After the fire of Al-Hussein Hospital in Nasiriyah

A policeman's tears spread sadness and pain in Iraq.. Video

Iraqi accounts on social media published a video of an Iraqi policeman crying in front of Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital in Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar Governorate, following the fire that broke out in the isolation center for people infected with the Corona virus and killed at least 64 people.

And the policeman appeared sitting crying with a burning heart, expressing the sadness and pain that spread in Iraq after the tragedy, while one of the people speaking in the video attributed the cause of the fire that occurred last night to “corruption.”

The fire broke out last night in the isolation center for people infected with Corona virus at Al-Hussein Hospital, and earlier, an official source in Dhi Qar Governorate confirmed that some of the victims of the isolation center fire were still under the rubble, and their bodies had not yet been recovered.

Iraqi President Barham Salih said that the tragic fire of Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital in Nasiriyah in Dhi Qar Governorate, and before that, Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad, is the result of persistent corruption and mismanagement that underestimate the lives of Iraqis and prevent the reform of the performance of institutions.

And Saleh continued, in a tweet on the social networking site "Twitter": "The difficult investigation and accountability for the negligent is the condolences of our martyrs and their families. A strict review of the performance of institutions and the protection of citizens is necessary."
