A painting of Sheikh Zayed decorated with precious stones fascinates visitors to "Abu Dhabi Hunting"

The Lebanese artist, Mohamed Diaa, displayed in his pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2022, which concludes today, Sunday, a group of valuable works, the most prominent of which is a painting of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, which fascinated the visitors of the exhibition, and attracted many who are they.

Dia explained that the painting took more than two years to implement, and it is made of precious stones, and it includes approximately 14.5 kilograms of precious stones such as emeralds, blue and black sapphires, agate, aquamarine and diamonds.

The painting is surrounded by a golden frame with a length of 134 cm and a width of 95 cm, and it is covered with 24-carat gold leaf produced by the French “Mante”, and inside the frame are verses from the Holy Qur’an coated with pure gold, pointing out that the outer frame of the painting is made of beech trees brought from Japan, It is decorated with hand-carving, approximately 200 years old, and the total weight of the painting is 250 kilograms.
