A nonagenarian shoots a gun at his psychologist in Gironde

This Thursday a 90-year-old man took out a gun while he was in consultation with a psychologist from the communal social action center of Canéjan, in Gironde, reports Sud-Ouest.

The therapist was seriously hit in the shoulder and rushed to the Bordeaux University Hospital.

His vital prognosis would not be engaged.

The nonagenarian has been arrested and a doctor will have to determine whether his condition is compatible with a custody measure.

The gendarmes are responsible for investigating to understand what prompted the old man to attack the practitioner.
